In our face oil and night serum, plant stem cell extract is one part of an active blend. It contributes to the texture, the skin feel, and the cosmetic profile of the product. We don't claim it reverses aging, repairs DNA, or treats medical conditions — those are not legitimate cosmetic claims.

Are plant stem cells the same as human stem cells?
No. Plant stem cells are a category of cosmetic ingredient produced by culturing plant cells. They have nothing to do with human stem cell biology and don't affect human skin cells in the way human stem cells would. They are botanical actives, used like any other plant extract.
Do they reverse aging?
No, and we don't claim they do. They are a cosmetic ingredient that contributes to the texture and skin feel of our formulations. We don't make anti-aging treatment claims because cosmetics aren't treatments.
Are they natural?
They are botanical-origin (derived from plant cells) but produced in lab conditions, which makes them more consistent than wild-harvested plant extracts. We list them as a key ingredient on the INCI label so you can make your own call.
Are they vegan?
Yes. Plant stem cell extracts are entirely plant-derived. Our formulations using them are vegan-friendly.
